Creating an ePortfolio with WordPress

In this link, ePortfolio guru Hellen Barrett explains how to create an electronic portfolio with Word Press. I like how her portfolio can be used both for demonstrating competency as well as to create a showcase of best work.

I’m starting to believe that a blog might be the best tool for creating an ePortfolio because of its ability to enter data chronologically and use categories and tags to make it meaningful to others, including assessors. WordPress is user friendly and free of ads so it seems like a good fit.  Students can submit category links to a course management system when it’s time to assess a standard.
