Google’s Lively offers free alternative to Second Life

Google introduces “Lively” to compete with Second Life in the virtual world market. Several advantages, Lively is free and users aren’t tethered together in a single website. Also, even though there is no cost, this new virtual world tool comes without Google ads. Lively is an easy and quick install for anyone with a Google account. This may be because it doesn’t come close to the providing Second Life’s graphical experience .   Currently, Lively only works on PCs.  Summary: Educators with limited budget who are working in an all PC environment may want to give Lively a try.
